Hiking route

D1 - 10:00 Zhang Xueliang Cultural Park

This route is about to gather in the first parking lot of Zhang Xueliang Cultural Park. Visit the former residence of Zhang Xueliang, not far from the trail, and drive to Xueba Farm. Zhang Xueliang Cultural Park is located on Wufeng Mountain, surrounded by mountains and quiet environment. Zhang Xueliang and his second wife are living here for a period of secluded years. D1 - 12:00 Xueba Farm (lunch by yourself)

After leaving the Zhang Xueliang Cultural Park, our group set off for Xueba Farm (about 1 hour by car) and decided to start the afternoon after lunch. On the mountain road to Xueba Farm, there was a large rafter that collapsed and blocked the road. It may be caused by the typhoon and rain in the past few days. However, the assistance of the dangerous engineering vehicle was ruled out in about half an hour, so it was just after heavy rain and entered the mountain forest. Really need special attention to safety!

 

D1 - 13:00 Wild Horse Overlooking The Mountain

After lunch, We started the first mountain warm-up trip "Wild Horse Overlooking The Mountain" on the same day. This trail is in the deep mountain of Xueba Farm (about 47 minutes by car). The whole mountain road is quite awkward. Motion sickness remember to bring your own motion sickness medicine. Although the trails of the wild horses are all original trails, the trails are very good. Just after the fog in the mountains, the soil will be more slippery and you should pay attention to your footsteps. You can also pay attention to the red indicators tied to the trees along the road. This obvious note is to avoid low visibility after fogging, and to help everyone recognize the road, it can be completed in about an hour.

 

D1 - 14:00 Cloud Trail

After the wild horse overlooking the mountain trail, we drove to the next hiking route "Cloud Trail". The location of this trail has entered the Miaoli Tai'an Township from Hsinchu Wufeng Township (about 14 minutes drive), while the trail is in the foggy national forest. Next to the visitor center of the recreation area, we also officially entered the main area of ​​the hiking route. The cloud trails are also very good. The whole journey is a wooden plank road. It is the most easy route. It is about 800 meters in length. It is also worth a visit if you can climb the Shenba Holy Ridge and the mountains far and near.

 

D1 - 18:00～ Enjoy Dinner At GuanWu Villa

After completing the Cloud Trail, return to the Guanwu Villa, which is about 5 minutes drive from the visitor center. This is where we settled on the day (personal bed in the backpack room), and dinner and breakfast the next day are also enjoyed here. After simply enjoying the dinner, everyone will rest and save their energy to prepare for the next day's hiking trip.

 

D2 - 10:00 Giant Wood Trail

After enjoying the breakfast in the village in the morning, it was a bit rainy on the day. Therefore, it is recommended that you can carry light rain gear. Each dress is ready to go to the "Shushan Giant Wood Group Trail", which is also the highlight of this route (about 8 minutes by car). After entering the trail, the whole group’s exclamations began to rise and fall, because the giant trees in the mountains are really very spectacular, just as people are shrunk into the incomparably large forest. How high are these giant trees?

Next to the giant wood, the tree species, tree height, bust, breast diameter and age of the tree, as well as the distance to the next giant wood, can be seen. You can look at it while climbing, and find out how high the tallest wood is!

In addition to the giant woods in the mountains, there is also a suspension bridge that makes people legs feel like jelly. Why do people feel like jelly? Because the bridge is very narrow that can only pass in one preson. Although it looks very horrifying, it really feels like walking in the cloud wonderland.
