Hot air balloon display time: morning (5:30-7:00), afternoon (17:00-19:00).

・Special attention: You will not see the hot air balloon if you go outside of the above time period!

 

Traffic mode (traffic control during the hot air balloon carnival)

1. Drive by yourself (from Taipei): Take the Taijiu Line and immediately after passing Luye Bridge, turn left at Dong33xiang Road, turn right at Guangrong Road/Dong33xiang Road, and turn right at Longma Road/Dong33xiang Road Turn left and turn right on Gaotai Road to reach Luye Gaotai.

2. By train (from Taipei): Take the train bound for Luye from Taipei Main Station, and then charter or change to a taxi to arrive at Luye Railway Station.

3. Chartered car (departing from residence): order the chartered car service on the official website of Orange Cat Travel Charter before departure, and you can depart from your residence at the designated time and reach your destination directly.

 

Traffic control during the carnival:

Traffic control is activated every Saturday afternoon, Sunday afternoon and opening and closing events

■ Control will start at 15:00 in the afternoon, but traffic control will be implemented earlier or later depending on the current traffic conditions.

■ Longma Road is closed to both directions

Except for firefighting, ambulance, police cars, and official vehicles

Open to tourist buses, taxis, locomotives, and handicapped vehicles

During the traffic control period, the car will be guided to the Longtian landing site and the Yijia Tourist Tea Garden parking lot.

 

Admission cleaning fee

■ 7/11-8/30 entering the park for large and small passenger (cargo) vehicles billing for cleaning and maintenance fees (single charge on the day)

■ Please park the vehicle in the designated parking area (please refer to the main venue map). Please do not park in violation of regulations. If you are towed, please be responsible for it.

■ Charge period:

05:00 to 07:30 am

14:00 to 18:30 pm

■ Charging standard:

　◎ Weekdays (Monday to Thursday): 100 yuan for cars, large and heavy locomotives, 30 yuan for locomotives

　◎ Holiday (Friday to Sunday): 200 yuan for cars, large and heavy locomotives, 50 yuan for locomotives

　◎ Free cleaning fees for bicycles entering the park

◎ There is no limit to the number of admissions that day, only one fee will be charged

 

About Luye Gaotai

The Luye High Platform in Taitung City can overlook the entire high platform area due to its special topographical conditions. The most popular event of this year’s hot air balloon carnival is the "Light Sculpture Concert". The hot air balloon is matched with rhythm music, pressurized flames, projection lights and laser lights, etc., making each hot air balloon with a special shape and shape brighter at night Eyes, more vitality, and more intent to see. There are a total of 8 concerts this time, and I especially remind everyone that when planning your itinerary, remember to confirm the number of concerts first, and don't go all the way, but you didn't see the most classic light sculpture concert!

 

2. The tethered experience of taking off directly (hot air balloon experience)

Different from light sculpture concerts, if you like more challenging activities, you will definitely like the "streaming experience", actually go to a hot air balloon to experience high-altitude adventure! From 7/11 opening to 8/30, there is an open experience every day, divided into morning (5:30-7:00) and afternoon (17:00-19:00), weekdays ($550 per person) and holidays ( $650/person), it is recommended that you make an online reservation and pay the fee before you leave, so you don’t have to go to the scene and queue up under the sun.

(Note: Tickets are open for purchase 3 weeks before the event experience day. A single order is limited to 2 tickets, and there is no limit to the number of orders.)

 

3. A hot air balloon market that gathers food culture

In addition to watching hot air balloons and experiencing hot air balloons, the carnival must also include food. The organizer has carefully planned the hot air balloon market, gathering nearly 30 vendors, from refreshing cold drinks, all kinds of savoury food, afternoon tea and desserts to Beinan.
