What You Can Expect

Qixingtan Scenic Area

Located in Beipu Village of Xincheng Town in Hualien County, Taiwan, Qixingtan is one of the most popular beach sightseeing spots of Hualien for it lies at the tip of a crescent bay offering extensive sceneries overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Qixingtan is consisted of a scenic area, geological area, the Katsuo Museum, as well as a stargazing observation area allowing visitors to have a wonderful experience stargazing by the sea.

Taroko Nation Park

Taroko Gorge, Taiwan, sometimes called the Taiwanese Grand Canyon, is the country’s premier scenic attraction, along with Alishan and Sun Moon Lake

Swallows' Grottos' Trail

Swallows' Trail is 4.4 kilometers. It takes about two hours to walk one way. The Grottos' Trail is the most spectacular place in the Taroko Gorge. The original Zhongheng Highway was built along the cliffs of this canyon. However, In order to be safe, visitors must wear a safety helmet.

Baiyang Trail / Cave of Water Curtain

The Baiyang Trail was the construction road for the Taiwan Power Company before. It is the trail for most wild animals and tunnels in the Taroko National Park. There are 8 tunnels on the way. The rock wall and the waterscape can be seen along the road. The water curtain hole is deeper. Because the geology is fragmented, the surface water flows down the cliff to form a special landscape.

Qingshui Cliff

Known as the most beautiful road in Taiwan, you can enjoy the cliffs and ocean. European and American tourists usually rent a car to experience.

►Tungtamen Night Market

Hualien's most famous sightseeing night market, gathering at least 400 vendors, also there are many traditional snacks only here.
