Mantanani Island, which has been named for its two wild manatees in the nearby waters, also known as the “mermaid”.

The Mermaid Islands consist of three islands: (Big Mermaid Island) Mantanani Besar Island, (Little Mermaid Island) Mantanani Kechil Island, (and Lin Shan Island) Lungisan Island.

Beautiful sea, beach, sunset and starry sky can be seen here.

Mermaid Island is one of the small islands along the East Malaysian coast.
Most of the island’s inhabitants are Muslims.
Living on fishing, life is very simple
We stayed in the high-rise house along the coast, neighboring the villagers.
The island is full of coconut trees, white sand and azure waters.

In the morning, we sneak into the sea.
In the afternoon, sitting by the window doing nothing at all.
We enjoy the freshl coconut water with the residents.
The network is not developed here.
With less interference from electronic devices and the Internet,
We truly relax and spend more time with nature.

The reason why Mermaid Island is like a paradise,

it's because the restrictions on the number of people on the island,

So not many people here, retain its original natural appearance.

Recommended items:

1-2 sets of lightweight clothing, sunglasses, slippers, sunscreen

In the early morning, the tour guide will pick us up at the hotel lobby. Today, 7 people including us set off to Mermaid Island.

A ship is about 50 people, which is a medium-sized traffic boat.

It’s okay when I’m on the way ongoing. When I return, the wind is so big that I can sit on a "pirate ship."

When I arrived on the ship, I rushed to put a seasickness pill , The efficacy came very quickly.

I fell asleep in 10 minutes.....

All the personal belongings must be put in the front or they will get wet.

Although I got up early this day, I was forced to sleep on the boat.

When I opened my eyes to the Mermaid Island, I was mentally awkward!

I have seen lots of beaches, but every time I come to a new island,

they are still amaze me "wow~ it's so beautiful~~~~"

From dark blue to tiffany blue, the color changes every second.

I once felt that I came to Maldives! !

No wonder people said it is "the world's top ten clean beaches"

I dig into the underwater world, the view was really shocking and amazing.

How clear the water I've ever seen.

The tour guide took us to snorkel, and he suddenly dive to a deeper place.

He came back with special and beautiful creature to show us, we took only photos,

Then they all are return to the sea.

After the first snorkeling, we went to the shore to have some food.

We dry the body quickly then began to enjoy our beach buffet.

If you came to the island first time,

There are several precautions for snorkeling in the sea.

Not afraid of dirty, not afraid of the sun, not afraid of the dew, not afraid of ugliness

Because it’s a temporary ladder to be on the side of the boat.

It may be a little bit swaying, but the boatman can hold it up,

There is a possibility that the boat will fly up and the foot will be empty.

You must pay attention to it!

I am used to wearing a bikini directly in my dress.

You will be wet anyway, anywhere, so you can also wear slippers or sandals.

The weather was sunny today.

So we are ready to start the second snorkeling.

We find Nemo at this time!

There are also many colorful corals!

Snorkeling equipment (life jackets and mirrors) is also included in the itinerary.

In general, if the weather is good, we weill go to 2 snorkeling spots and stay for 30 minutes each.

but if the weather is bad, you will only go to 1 snorkeling spot. 1 hour for each.

Because too many people wait for lunch, to make sure everyone can get a full meal, to control the distribution, after everyone has taken a round, the rest will be free to take.

I did't see disasters and food grabs.

There will be no quarrels in the queue.

Even if you are in the last one, you can have choice.

One in Saudi Arabia is a quarter of Chinese.

Plus most of the tourists who come to Sabah are mainlanders.

So you can hear Simplified/Traditional Chinese everywhere.

There is also a quarter of the chance to pull a person on the road to communicate in Mandarin.

Even, there are more people speak Hakka!

I saw a lot of big shells on the shore,I asked the tour guide why they are placed here.

In fact, it is not deliberately going to be sunburned.

These shells were found by fishermen when they were fishing.

The inside has been eaten up!

Beautiful shells are left to be placed on the branches as a artwork,

The biggest shell is actually 20 kilograms!

Remember to stay a overnight on the Mermaid Island.

So you can get a really rest.

Otherwise, the day trip take at least four hours on transfer.

The exact time spent on the island is less than three hours, which is really not worth it!

The most important thing is that you have the opportunity to see blue tears when you stayover!
