I finally write an article for a short version of Tainan tourist attractions
This idea has been haunting in my mind for a long time
But I always considered that there haven’t enough tourist attractions yet
After few years, it time to share it for everybody
As a person who live in Chiayi also can travel around in Tainan
Although there’re some tourist attractions that I visited 2 or 3 years ago, there’re still exist, so don’t worry about that

#1 Houbi Dist.

[Tainan] Elegant cultural and artistic square-go looking for Jimmy in the farm

It has been in my bucket list for a long time
I finally had chance to visit it
Even though the art of Jimmy became a little bit mottled
There’re installation art in the farm everywhere
It makes me want to take many pictures…

 

[Tainan] The biggest 7-11 in Taiwan

There’re so many 7-11 in Taiwan
Have you been a 7-11 which is larger than 3300 square meters?
There’re artificial garden landscape next to it so it’s also a good place to bring children
The ancien items collected from 7-11 are also suitable for taking pictures

 

[Tainan] one day trip in Houbi Dist菁寮old street 

It’s not a long old street, but I has its own feeling
If you’d like to visit this street, you should arrange more places to go

 

[Tainan] 菁寮Saint croix catholic church-located in the paddy field

The first I saw it
I couldn’t help but visit it
However, I could only appreciate it far away from it
(because I didn’t check the open hours)

It’s a silent village
It makes me have the illusion as if I were in my grand mother’s home
Now there’re lots of works of art
You could walk around slowly 
There’re sometimes some surprises

It’s really large
And attracts many flower lovers 
This time I went with my husband

 

#2 Xuejia District

[Tainan] Xuejia sea of Hollyhock flower(2018唸戀學甲蜀葵花文化節)

Waiting for a long time, I finally set a flag here
Why so difficult to be here even if I’m just live in a city next to Tainan
It’s my first time to walk in such a large field of hollyhock flower
It’s another kind of romance to be lost here

 

#3 Baihe District

[Tainan] One-day trip in Guanziling(Lingding Park, 關子嶺天梯, 關子嶺好漢坡, must-eat in the old street)

If I mention Tainan Guanziling, you must think of Guanziling hot spring
I planned to enjoy 2 days hot spring attractions originally
Howerever something changes
So I could only visit some tourist attractions
Because I went to the spots nearby, so I share an article directly

I went there twice

A place with rainbow color and childlike installation art
Seems to be a place for everyone to check-in on Facebook

 

#5 Liuying District

[Tainan] Dutch-themed park with a pond, windmill & pastures

A Dutch-themed park appeared in Tainan
It’s quiet large and good for bringing with children
And a google choice for BBQ

 

#6 Madou District

[Tainan] 麻豆總爺藝文中心-walking in a large art center, you could cultivate your sense of art and appreciate old architecture at the same time
Although this spot isn’t new

It’s really large
It not only conserve the old architecture well
But also has so many insatallation art 
It’s suitable to bring with children in the weekend

 

[Tainan] Daofeng Inland Sea Museum-boat-shaped museum!!!

Located just next to 麻豆總爺藝文中心
This inclined building is appealing
However, it’s not that large so I recommend to travel with 麻豆總爺藝文中心 at once

#7 Beimen District

[Tainan] a beautiful place for taking weding photos

It’s heard that there’re something new here.
I should go there again some other days

 

[Tainan] Beimen Crystal Church

You know it’s Beimen Crystal Church when seeing this photo
Although you can’t enter there
It’s enough to take pictures from the outside

The title really attracts me because of money
It became popular few years ago because of an idol drama
There’re acutually many ancien toys in the shop
If you come to Beimen, don’t miss this place

 

#8 Yujing District

[Tainan] Driftwood Ark Galilee Church

It’s established for a flood in nothern part of Taiwan
The shape looks like Noah's Ark
Once you enter the park, you can’t help but keep taking pictures

 

#9 Xinshi District

[Tainan] Installation art in Southern Taiwan Science Park

It’s more than a Science Park
There’re many interesting installation arts

 

[Tainan] Jimmy theme park in Southern Taiwan Science Park

It made a hit when it appeared
It’s not a big park
Childlike installation art make you keep taking photos

 

#10 Jiali District

[Tainan] The longest slippery in Taiwan. There’s also BBQ area

Children can’t stop playing with these two slipperies
There’re also three BBQ areas and playground nearby
You can stay here for a whole day enjoying the time with children

 

#11 Annan District

[Tainan] Taijiang National Park-besides Sicao Green Tunnel, you can’t miss here either!!!

We’d like to have a cruise trip in Sicao Green Tunnel originally
But there’re so many people in the weekend that we need to wait for 2 hours
So we decided to have a cruise trip in Taijiang National Park
We had a really good experience!

It’s really fantastic!
It’s beautiful in the photo when the weather is nice
Because of its beauty, There’s always a long queue in the weekend

 

#12 North District

<Outside activity>[Tainan] Garden Night market-lengendary Garden Night Market, there’re delicious food and interesting games.

I cosidered that if I should put Garden Night Market in the article
How should I sort it??
But once I think of that night market is a part of taiwanese culture
And it’s outside

#13 West Central District

[Tainan] 321 Art Alley Settlement

Although it’s sorted into <Outside activity>
You could also visit many exhibitions in the alley

 

[Tainan] Snail Alley-Follow the steps of snail, create the map of your family

There’re so many cultural and creative places in the valley
The snails hidden in the valley
Are the works of 葉石濤
Following the steps of snails and looking for the ancien memories
Is a really cultural and creative thing
