When it comes to Thailand, people will come up with a variety of themes. Whether it is shemales, muay thai, food, royalty, tourism, etc., they are very representative of Thai culture, but today I ’m going to introduce them to you. It is another "Thai Festival" that is deeply rooted in Thai life and is closely related to the daily work of Thais.
Makha Bucha Day (2/8)
On the day of Wan Buddha Festival, the royal staff will personally participate in the prayer ceremony, and ordinary people will also take flowers, incense and offerings to the nearby temples in the morning to carry out activities such as fasting, incense, and worship.
In the evening, three rounds of candlestick ceremonies will be held outside the main hall of the temple.
If you want to get your own insight into local celebrations of Makha Bucha Day in Thailand, simply stop by the local temple closest to wherever you are staying in Bangkok or elsewhere. Most will be happy to welcome inquisitive souls and to let you observe – or even participate in – processions and other activities to mark the holiday.
Chakri Memorial Day (4/6)
The Chakri dynasty, also known as the Bangkok dynasty, is the Thai royal family that continued from 1782 to April 6, 1782. It was the day when the Khori dynasty was founded and it was the day when Rama I ascended the throne. Therefore, to commemorate this day, Chakri Dynasty Memorial Day
Songkran Festival (4/13-4/15)
"Songkran", meaning to move or pass into. This ancient festival celebrates the Thai New Year, April 13 through April 15. The origins derive from the ancient Indian Festival of Makar Sankriti. Nowadays, Songkran is one of Thailand’s biggest celebrations and more than half a million tourists join the water fights.
Vesak Day (5/6)
Vesak Day (or Wesak Day) is more commonly known as Buddha’s birthday. However, the event encompasses not only Buddha’s birth, but also his enlightenment and death. While Christians celebrate Jesus’ birth and death as two separate occasions (Christmas and Easter), Buddhists commemorate Buddha’s birth and death as one. Given that Buddhism is the biggest religion in Thailand, with 90% of the population practising the faith, Vesak Day is undoubtedly one of Bangkok’s most important annual events. It’s a fascinating time to visit the city.
Asarnha Bucha Day (7/5)
Thai people call this festival the Sambo Buddha Festival, because this day is the date of the first sermon after the Buddha attained enlightenment, and then one of the people who heard the sermon on the same day also realized that he decided to become a monk
For the first monk of Buddhism, this day is also the day when the first monk appeared in the world. In this way, it became a day when the Buddhist "Three Treasures" (Buddha, Dharma, and Monk) were all available, so the later generations called it the "Three Treasures of Buddha"

What are the precautions to go to Songkran Festival in Thailand? There are 4 in total, don't miss it!
1. Do not wear on exposed clothing and avoid ordering, especially girls
2. Do not use dirty water to splash people (super rude and disrespectful of local culture), be careful of being beaten
3. Pay attention to as many thieves as possible, and avoid putting valuables on your body
4. Don't be angry, splashing water means to bless others. Therefore, don't be angry when faced with sudden irrigation during the water splashing festival.
